From Data to Models
New Bioinformatics Methods and Tools for Data-Driven, Predictive Dynamic Modelling in Biotechnological Applications

Events

May 15 to May 16

The annual BioPreDyn meeting will be held in Hinxton, at the EBI, following the Systems Biology Modelling Cycle EBI-BioPreDyn workshop.

The BioPreDyn-specific annual meeting will begin on  with a consortium dinner. Scientific updates, overviews, and discussions will take place on Friday 16 May from 8:30-15:00. The meeting is hosted at the EBI by the Saez-Rodriguez lab.

May 12 to May 15

This EBI-BioPreDyn course will provide a detailed overview of state-of-the-art modelling methods and tools in computational systems biology, focusing especially on dynamic (mechanistic) models.

Jun 10 to Jun 13

Week-long intensive introduction to Gaussian processes and function approximation in machine learning, with both workshops and invited lectures.

Mar 4 to Mar 6

The annual BioPreDyn meeting will be held in Naples, in a congress hall directly at the seaside. Research progress will be highlighted with short talks, and networking within the consortium will be promoted with sightseeing events and dinners.

This workshop, sponsored by the EU FP7 project BioPreDyn, is aimed at current and prospective users of the COPASI modeling and simulation package for system biology. The workshop is directed both at beginners as well as advanced users and there will be sessions directed at each of these groups (in parallel if needed). The workshop will also be an important means for the COPASI development team to collect feedback from users about improving the software.
